Fees

We offer a number of options which include a full day from 7:30am to 6:00pm (including breakfast) to shorter days of 7 hours per day.

Our fees are all inclusive and include meals, snacks, nappies and other consumables.

Early Years Funded places

We offer spaces that can utilise the government early years funded childcare.

2-year-olds funded childcare

The government provides a funded childcare scheme which offers funded childcare for eligible 2-year-olds. The scheme includes a total of 15 hours of funded childcare for 38 weeks, totalling 570 hours per year. Abberley House Nursery is open all year round (50 weeks of the year), which means we will stretch this funding, totalling up to 11.4 hours per week.

To be eligible of receiving 15 hours funded childcare for your 2-year-old, you must be receiving one of the following benefits:

• Income support

• Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)

• Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

• Universal Credit, and your household income is £15,400 a year or less after tax, not including benefit payments

• The guaranteed element of Pension Credit

• Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit (or both), and your household income is £16,190 a year or less before tax

• The Working Tax Credit 4-week run on (the payment you get when you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)

Government funding is intended to cover the cost to deliver 15 or 30 hours a week of free, high-quality, flexible childcare. It is not intended to cover the cost of meals, consumables, resources, or additional hours.

A consumables charge will be applied to all funded hours to cover these costs.

3-4-year-olds funded childcare

Universal 15 Hours

All children aged 3 to 4 in England are eligible to claim 15 hours funded childcare sessions per week, totalling 570 hours per year. The scheme includes a total of 15 hours of funded childcare for 38 weeks, totalling 570 hours per year. Abberley House Nursery is open all year round (50 weeks of the year), which means we will stretch this funding, totalling up to 11.4 hours per week.

30 hours extended funded childcare

30 hours funded childcare for 3- and 4-year-olds is a scheme in the UK that provides eligible families with up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week for their children.

Your eligibility of receiving 30 hours funded childcare for your 3- or 4-year-old, depends on:

• If you are working

• Your income (and your partner’s income if applicable)

• Your child’s age and circumstances

• Your immigration status

The scheme offer an additional 15 hours of funded childcare on top of the ‘Universal 15 hours funding’ across 38 weeks, totalling 570 hours per year. Abberley House Nursery is open all year round (50 weeks of the year), which means we will stretch this funding, totalling up to 11.4 hours per week.

If you are eligible for the 30 hours extended funding then you will be entitled to 22.8 hours of funded childcare a week at Abberley House. This will comprise of 11.4 hours universal + 11.4 hours extended entitlement.

A consumables charge will be applied to all funded hours to cover these costs.

Expansion of the Early Years Funding Scheme

Under-twos

Families with children aged between nine months and two-years-olds aren’t currently eligible for any funded hours. However, the government has announced that:

from September 2024, all eligible working parents of children aged nine months up to three-years-old will be able to access funding for 15 hours per week of education and care for 38 weeks of the year.
from September 2025, all eligible working parents of children aged nine months up to three-years-old will be able to access funding for 30 hours per week of education and care for 38 weeks of the year.

The government has confirmed that the 30 hours offer will now start from the moment maternity or paternity leave ends.

There are currently no plans to provide funded places for children aged under nine months.

Two-year-olds

from April 2024, all eligible working parents of two-year-olds will be able to access funding for 15 hours per week of education and care for 38 weeks of the year.
from September 2025, all eligible working parents of children aged nine months up to three-years-old will able to access funding for 30 hours per week of education and care for 38 weeks of the year.

Three- and four-year-olds

The government is not currently proposing any changes to the funded entitlements for three- and four-year-olds.

Abberley House Nursery will be offering funded hours places in-line with the expanded roll-out of the scheme.
